Mgr. David Matuska - Chief Executive Officer David has graduated with Master's degree in Science of Education majoring in Mathematics and Geography at university UJEP in Usti nad Labem. In such program, he could draw on his analytical and systematical thinking. After graduation, he has completed several managerial educational programs and trainings. David is a translation and localization authority with a decade of experience in this profession. In 1996 he started his career of a director at a translation agency in Usti nad Labem, CZ. Since 2000, he has been active in language and translation field at international dimension; first in Central Europe (Hungary, Slovenia) and later in the Baltic region, Western Europe (Germany, Netherlands), China, and lastly USA. As an active member of GALA (Globalization and Localization Association) and LISA (Localization Industry Standards Association), David knows what it takes to take an idea and make it flourish in a country that does not speak your language and does not follow your cultural habits and traditions. Before founding CEET, he led a company Skrivanek with more than 300 employees in 52 service establishments and 13 countries. Coming to CEET was a natural extension of his activity in such a diverse area like localization services. Besides CEET, David spends his free time with his wife and children. He has got two daughters and a son. Together they make trips and enjoy all kinds of sports, especially skiing, golf, squash, and bowling. They love spending weekends in their cottage. David likes fine wines and if you ever visit him in his cottage you may be invited to sample some from his small but well supplied wine cellar.

Mgr. Marek Kadlec - Cheif Operations Officer Marek graduated from university UJEP in Usti nad Labem (Czech Republic) with Master's degree in Science of Education majoring in German studies and History. He pursued his German studies at Technical University in Dortmund in West Germany. Attending the two programs provided him with a great opportunity to compare the educational process in post communist region of Central Europe in the last decade of the 20th century with the system in one of the founding members of the European Union. Marek has been active in the language, translation, and interpreting area for the second decade now. He opened his career as a lecturer of German language, translator, and an interpreter. At the end of 90's he founded Liberecka Language School, Ltd. that has soon become the biggest language agency in the Northern Bohemia. In 2004 he co-founded a company Asociace, Ltd. This organization set up several language agencies - the Prague Language Agency, Ltd. among others. This agency, located in the heart of the Czech Republic, is gaining great prestige and a reputation through its high quality services. Nowadays, Marek is a Director-general of Asociace, Ltd. He is also a Chairman of the board of directors of bilingual English-Czech kindergarten in the Northern Czech Republic. This organization was the first institution in the Czech Republic that based its educational program for pre-school children on the model Watt's English. As a co-founder of CEET, Ltd. Marek is, together with David Matuska and a team of company's devoted employees, a guarantor of high quality and professional services. The diverse world of languages and interpersonal communication is not only his work but his hobby, too. Besides that, every time there is a chance to spend some time outdoor, he takes the chance to do so. Together with his loved family of his wife, a daughter, and a son, he enjoys long and relaxing walks in the forest. Marek also likes fine wines, enjoying their delicate aromas and various tastes.

David Raska, MSM. - Business Development Manager David has graduated with Master in Science of Education (1999) with a major in English Language as a Second Language, and Physical Education at the Technical University in Liberec, Czech Republic. Couple years later, he has acquired his second master degree, Master of Science in Management of Technology (2002) from University of Alabama in Hutsville, USA. Today, he is working on his PhD in Marketing (Consumer Behavior) at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, USA. Although David has spent most of his life being a part of a scholarly world, he has passion for keeping his feet in the real world and apply the knowledge and experience from theoretical side of the world to practical side. He has been with CEET from its foundation in 2005. Before joining CEET team, he worked as a marketing director for Vertical Sport, a major distributor of outdoor equipment in the Czech Republic. Throughout his studies and work, he has gained 6 years of experience in the translation and communication industry; he has also participated at several consulting projects for state institutions and small businesses in the Czech Republic. Today, he works on his PhD degree in Marketing at Washington State University in Pullman, WA, USA. He is a member of American Marketing Association and Association of Consumer Research. Beyond CEET and doctoral studies, David spends his free time with his wife Marcela. They love rock climbing, hiking, and backpacking and in case of inclement weather, they just dream about sunny skies at indoor climbing wall. His other interests are creating web pages, mountain biking, listening to music, watching pointless movies, and living life at full throttle.

Mgr. Marcela Raskova - Business Development Manager Marcela has graduated with Master in Science of Education (1999) with major in Mathematics and Physics at the Technical University in Liberec, Czech Republic Marcela has been with CEET from its foundation in 2005. Prior to joining CEET team, she has worked for our partnering firm Liberecka Jazykova Skola (Liberecka Language School) as an English and Czech languages lecturer. Throughout her time at Liberecka Jazykova Skola (LJS), she also assisted with projects that focused on improving intraorganizational infrastructure, streamlining collaborative efforts, and improving team-sharing processes. Before accepting her position in LJS, Marcela worked as a teacher and tutor in Mathematics and Physics at several educational institutions in the Czech Republic and the USA. Since 2002, she also worked with York, Ltd., Elteq, Ltd., and Vertical Sport as a freelance translator, and with company Keramika Struna as a marketing consultant. She now lives with her husband in Pullman, Washington, USA, devoting her time to CEET USA and supporting her husband in his PhD program. Besides her interests in mathematics, statistics, marketing and psychological research, she plays with their little family website to keep their loved ones in the Czech Republic informed about their lives overseas. Marcela's other hobbies are rock climbing, running, hiking, and swimming. She also enjoys watching movies and listening to music.
